As risk professionals, there are multiple stressors we encounter in our roles. We often interact with those who are grieving or experiencing extreme emotions, whether it is a loss due to a medical error or the anxiety associated with being involved in an event. Risk professionals can easily take on the pain of others without even realizing it, and it can be challenging to shut off these feelings at the end of the day. This is why it is critical we learn to implement strategies to help feel our best physically and mentally. This session will offer lifestyle modifications that can be implemented into your daily life. Please join Resident in Counseling, Hilary Tarkington Stowers to discover how to take a holistic approach to risk management and improve your overall well-being both personally and professionally.
Learning Objectives:
- Have a greater understanding of their role and how to better support themselves, patients & family, and the administration.
- Recognize patterns to mitigate the inherently high stress levels associated with their respective roles and strive to reduce burnout.
- Discover how lifestyle choices can significantly impact mood and learn how behavior modifications can improve their quality of life and job performance.
