Description
The holidays are a busy time and risk professionals are often multi-tasking to juggle competing priorities. The month of December is a good time to develop strategies to help reduce stress, improve focus, decrease emotional reactivity and ultimately improve well-being. This session will bring awareness to the signs and triggers of stress and introduce mindfulness techniques to promote resiliency during a busy time of year.
Learning Objectives:
1. Discuss the deleterious cumulative effects of stress.
2. Describe the physiological impact (the how and why) of what we call “mindfulness”.
3. Demonstrate strategies to help promote reduced stress, better focus, and decreased emotional reactivity.
