Speaker Bio

Cheryl Kozdrey, JD's, background in health care administration informs her current legal practice,  which is dedicated exclusively to the representation of policyholders throughout the insurance claims process and coverage dispute litigation against insurance carriers. She represents national and local health care organizations through complex directors and officers coverage litigation, as well as commercial property and business interruption claims. Additionally, she advises risk managers, in-house counsel, insurance brokers, and other industry professionals on optimal risk transfer strategies and insurance solutions. She assists clients with initial policy reviews, as well as renewals and modifications of existing policies to ensure coverage needs are satisfied and claims are avoided.

Matthew Tahbaz, is an Account Executive specializing in Construction risks based out of Marsh’s Miami office. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the successful delivery of Marsh resources to meet client risk management needs. Matthew’s experience in nationwide construction projects and portfolios includes building and managing Rolling Casualty, Builders Risk, and Environmental programs relevant to the simplest and the most complex accounts. Specialized construction expertise ranges across project/asset types with health care representing an area of focus. A diligent client advocate, Matthew enjoys driving creative risk transfer initiatives as well as presenting well thought out solutions and opportunities for clients. His unique experience, ability to problem solve, and work ethic benefits both the daily servicing as well as the long-term strategic goals of his clients.
