Speakers:
Joseph Washington has over 25 years of experience underwriting medical professional liability insurance. This includes managing and underwriting hospital and miscellaneous professional liability divisions.
Mary Trinh, Esq., is the Focus Group Leader of the Safeguard Claims team and is based out of Beazley’s Los Angeles, California office. Mary leads a claims team dedicated to handling sexual abuse and molestation claims for a broad range of insureds across multiple different industries, including health care, education, religious, social services and non-profits, in the United States, Australia and Canada. Prior to joining the Beazley claims team, Mary was a partner at a law firm where she specialized in defending representing clients in high-exposure general liability and medical malpractice claims.
Ben Accardo is an Underwriter for Beazley’s Safeguard product (standalone SAM) and is based in the West Hartford, Connecticut office. Prior to becoming an Underwriter, Ben spent more than nine years as a member of the Executive Risk claims team handling employment practices liability claims and claims involving allegations of sexual abuse under the Beazley Safeguard product. Ben graduated in 2012 from the University of Hartford with a degree in Engineering.
