Description
In today’s fast-paced health care environment, fostering a robust safety culture is more critical than ever. This webinar will guide participants through the interconnectedness of safety training, effective reporting, and data analytics, addressing the pressing question: why aren’t we seeing the reports we need?
Join us as we explore the vital relationship between workplace behaviors and their impact on safety outcomes and malpractice claims. You will learn how certain behaviors can undermine a culture of safety, leading to detrimental results for both staff and patients.
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify the relationship between behaviors that undermine a culture of safety and suboptimal outcomes, and excess malpractice claims.
2. Identify organizational commitments to sustain culture change that supports respect and professional accountability.
3. Understand the essential elements (people, organization, and learning systems) including how to use the Vanderbilt Professional Accountability Pyramid to direct a tiered intervention approach to provide peer delivered feedback escalated to leader directed interventions as needed.
