Tracy Melina width=

Tracy L. Melina is the Assistant Vice President of Risk Management for Nuvance Health, with over 38 years health care leadership. Currently overseeing Risk Management, she works closely with health care providers, physicians and office managers and hospital clinical and administrative staff to identify, mitigate, and provide solutions for risk management exposures.

Ms. Melina has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, a Business Certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Master of Science in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), has received her Distinguished Fellow of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (DFASHRM). Ms. Melina has also been named Risk Professional of the year by American Society of Healthcare Risk Management in 2023.

Ms. Melina has comprehensive experience and knowledge in health care risk management, patient safety, regulatory compliance, health care accreditation, as well as property casualty insurance program and claims management. She is an active member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) participating on the Education Committee and the State Society for NJ SHRM-NJ and NY for ASHRMNY.
