Do you know that according to the National Institutes of Health, “Patient falls are one of the most common adverse events reported in hospitals. Each year, roughly 700,000 to 1 million patient falls occur in U.S. hospitals resulting in around 250,000 injuries and 11,000 deaths.” This webinar offers tools and strategies you can immediately put into action to engage your team in comprehensive patient fall rate reduction. You’ll have the opportunity to earn 1 CE and 1 CNE.

Reducing patient falls is of paramount importance in health care settings as it directly impacts patient safety, well-being, and overall quality of care. Beyond the physical harm, falls can increase health care costs due to extended hospital stays, additional treatments, and the need for rehabilitation services. By implementing effective fall prevention strategies, health care facilities not only safeguard the health and dignity of their patients but also contribute to a more efficient and cost-effective health care system. This underscores the critical need for health care providers to prioritize and continuously improve protocols aimed at reducing patient falls. Take this on-demand webinar to learn how to review resources to analyze and improve your patient falls program, describe what the key elements of a Patient Falls Bootcamp agenda are, and to identify ongoing actions to take after the Bootcamp to sustain momentum. New tools and strategies are presented to enable attendees to begin their own program to put what they’ve learned into practice.
