This webinar provides an overview of the SURI Framework and demonstrate how this can be used to move the needle to implement Enterprise Risk Management.

ERM should be part of your company’s DNA.

Risk benchmarking has always been a challenge for health care organizations. Recently, through the use of a Risk Collaborative made up of over 100 ASHRM associated professionals from all areas of risk and levels of experience took on that challenge and the foundation for the SURI Framework was developed.

They recognized that risk management is an essential discipline in a maturing organization and an Enterprise Risk Framework is a critical tool to help communicate the value of any program, the impact risk realization could have and the steps to insulate organization from negative outcomes.

During this overview of the Strategic Universal Risk Index (SURI) you will learn how to move the needle so that enterprise risk management is not just a check the box exercise but a truly value-added program, something all risk professionals hunger for. The focus includes:

  1. How to communicate the value of an enterprise risk framework to stakeholders across the organization.
  2. The necessary elements of a risk index.
  3. The definition of the SURI benchmark indicators and how they apply to your company’s strategy.

Objectives:

  • • Discuss the importance of having a risk management program.
  • • Identify the key players to have involved in your risk program.
  • • Explain the key focus factors for risk benchmarking.
